Alan Traynor Consulting Engineers were employed by Iona Rock Developments to carry out the Planning, Fire Safety Certification, Disability Access, Assigned Certifier and Structural Engineering services at Corlurgan Business Park, Cavan.
The construction of the Business Park has developed since 2002 to present where currently the final phrase of development on the site is under construction with completion of Block F which is a 12000sq.ft Industrial / Manufactory Facility. The units are of steel portal frame construction with External Insulated Cladding with infill Blockwork with decorative finished block outer leaf.
The Ground conditions were variable with traditional strip foundations of rock to the front of the site and piled and reinforced ground beam foundations to the rear due to extensive fill.
