CLONES REGENERATION
Client: Monaghan County Council
Alan Traynor Consulting Engineers Ltd provided Civil and Structural Engineering Services for 21 No Housing Units in Clones, Co. Monaghan. Works involved Full Structural and Civil Design including Foul, Surface Water and Watermains. Surface Water Design was carried out in accordance with SUDS and GDSDS.
The apartments were constructed of traditional Casting Walls with concrete ground and upper floors, balcony’s and cut timber roof structures. Due to variable ground conditions these are a mixture of deep strip foundations, raft foundations and underpinning of Existing Foundations.
There is also significant Temporary Works and Retaining Structures. During the construction Alan Traynor Consulting Engineers Ltd carried out ongoing inspections and attendance at Design Team Meetings.
